Making Tax Digital (MTD)

Remember if this is your first VAT quarter, you will need to register your business for MTD AND your software separately.

Next quarter end 31.08.19 with MTD submission 7 October 2019.

Open Banking

Previously digital bookkeeping software used a third party app to upload an automatic bank feed.

From 14th September, this all changes!  Banks have been working really hard to eliminate the third party app to create a more secure and efficient way of using an automatic bank feed.

There is no more third party app and the bank feed is direct from the bank—welcome Open Banking!

What you need to do—update your bank feed on your bookkeeping software, and voilà.

Please take a moment to look at our new website launched this month courtesy of  ‘Web Design & SEO Selby’.

Laura has done an amazing job and we would love to hear your feedback.

Great North Run

After suffering from a herniated disc over 2 years ago, I decided to take on the challenge of the Great North Run to help raise money for ‘The Selby Hands of Hope’.

It was a fantastic experience and I managed to complete the run in 02:03:27 using a personal training plan designed for me by Ian Martin.

Me and Wayne together raised over £400 for the local charity to help those in need.
